Terms of service

Draft — pending counsel review before public launch1. What Spendkin is (and isn’t)
Spendkin is a personal finance tracking tool. It is not a bank, financial adviser, or money transmitter. Its figures are informational and depend on the evidence available and your corrections. Verify important figures against your provider’s records before making financial decisions. Capture coverage is not guaranteed for every provider or region.
2. Your account
Use your own Sign in with Apple account, keep your recovery kit safe, and configure only capture sources you are entitled to use. A Shortcuts automation, if available, is yours to enable, pause, or remove; Spendkin does not directly access your notification stream.
3. Pricing and purchases
There is no paid plan or in-app purchase currently available in the iPhone app. Website prices are indicative plans, not an offer to purchase. Any future paid terms and final prices will be disclosed before a purchase can be made.
4. Acceptable use
Don’t abuse, probe, overload, or disrupt the service; don’t send capture content you have no right to; don’t attempt to access other users’ data.
5. Your data
You can export a readable local CSV and request account deletion in-app. Deletion ends account access once accepted, with a 72-hour server purge grace period followed by scheduled cleanup. See the privacy policy for details.
Your financial record is encrypted before sync. We cannot read it or restore it if all your available recovery methods are lost. Keep your recovery kit safe.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties, subject to applicable law. These draft terms require legal review before public release.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
